Editorial policy
A practical standard for accuracy, independence, corrections, affiliate disclosures, and product claims.
Core principle
Content should help a reader make a better operational decision. Search traffic and affiliate revenue are secondary to factual accuracy and usefulness.
Evidence hierarchy
Time-sensitive product facts should be checked against official vendor documentation first. Independent review platforms and user communities can inform patterns and objections, but promotional claims and isolated complaints are not treated as proof.
Fact, analysis, and experience
Pages distinguish documented facts from analysis. We do not imply hands-on testing where none occurred. If first-hand testing is later conducted, the page should describe what was tested, when, on which plan, and what limitations applied.
Corrections
If a material error is identified, it should be corrected promptly and the affected conclusion reconsidered. Software pricing, features, terms, and trials change frequently, so dated verification notes are used on key pages.
Affiliate relationships
Affiliate compensation is disclosed clearly. A higher commission is not sufficient reason to rank one product above another.
